We handle the sorting, pricing, displaying, and selling for you. No taking photos, creating online listings, answering messages, meeting buyers, or shipping packages. We handle the selling so you don't have to.

How Consigning Works

1. Book Your Appointment

Schedule a 45-minute consignment appointment before bringing your items to the store.

2. Bring Your Items

For each visit, you may bring:

• Up to 40 clothing items
• Unlimited handbags, shoes, and jewelry

All items must be clean, laundered, seasonal or everyday, and ready to display.

Clothing should be buttoned, zipped, or otherwise ready to go on the sales floor.

We cannot accept clothing with stains, holes, missing buttons, torn seams, broken zippers, fabric discoloration, or other significant damage.

Shoes and boots must be clean, have insoles, and be free of dirt, stains, and holes.

3. We Select & Price Your Items

Our team reviews your items based on condition, brand, style, season, and current customer demand.

We determine the selling price and handle promotional sales and markdowns during the consignment period.

4. We Handle the Rest

Once your items are accepted and you've completed our Consignment Agreement, we take care of:

Sorting • Hanging • Pricing • Displaying • Selling

Your accepted merchandise is added to your consignment account and made available to our shoppers.

What Can I Consign?

We accept a variety of gently used merchandise, including:

• Women's Clothing
• Women's Plus-Size Clothing
• Men's Clothing
• Shoes & Boots
• Handbags
• Jewelry
• Accessories

Our inventory needs change throughout the year, so we recommend checking our current Consignment Guide before your appointment.

How Much Do I Earn?

When one of your items sells:

You receive 40% of the sale proceeds.

L.O.V.E. Consignment receives 60%.

We take care of pricing, displaying, promoting, and selling your merchandise. You earn money when your items sell.

How Long Are My Items Consigned?

Our consignment period is 120 days.

Permanent price reductions may begin after approximately 30 days. Items may also be included in store promotions or sales at any time during the consignment period.

At the end of the 120-day consignment period, you may choose to have your unsold merchandise picked up or donated to charity.

We will notify you about your unsold merchandise. If you've chosen to retrieve your items, you will have 10 days after notification to pick them up.

Items that aren't retrieved within the required period may be donated, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of in accordance with our Consignment Agreement.

If your items are donated, a tax receipt for those items will be emailed to you at the end of the year.

How Do I Get Paid?

We offer convenient payout options for your sold merchandise.

Direct Deposit

Payments for items sold during the previous month are automatically deposited into your bank account between the 1st and 5th of each month.

Direct deposits:

• Have a $2.50 bank service charge withheld from the deposit
• Require at least $5.00 in available sales proceeds for a deposit to be processed

Check Pickup

Checks may be picked up at L.O.V.E. Consignment between the 1st and 10th of each month.

For amounts below $5.00, you may receive cash or have the amount held as a credit for the following month.

Credit-card processing fees associated with the sale of consigned merchandise are shared between L.O.V.E. Consignment and the consignor as outlined in the Consignment Agreement.

Track Your Sales

Consignors have the option to access our online system to view their sales activity.

There is a $2 per month fee for access to the consignor web application. You may choose to opt out of this service if you don't need online access.

We'll provide additional information when your consignment account is established.

What Happens to Items We Don't Accept?

We carefully review merchandise to determine whether it's a good fit for our store and current customers.

Items that don't meet our consignment guidelines may be returned or donated.
